NZ vs Finland

Days packing is now done. I managed to get all my stuff somehow somewhere where I can carry them. Eventually I have a big luggage, which porbably weights 30ish kg, sport bag which is another 15kg, violin case, Road Country tote bag (under 5kg), big box of clothes which I don't know what to do with, backpack, camera bag and a box to send to Finland. I still have to buy some souveniers for special people. I am so lucky that my whole family is coming over to help me with my bags.

I remember the time my dad first suggested having a family holiday in New Zealand I was totally against the idea, I wanted to get back to Finland, so my dad ditched the idea. Somewhere around March I had changed my mind and I asked my dad if they still would like to come around for Christmas holidays. Every extra second in this country is worth it so technically I'm using my family. But they also get a lot out of this deal. They'll see an amazing country with the phenomenal views and because I've spend the past year her I can explain all the weird habits what kiwis have.

Do I really miss Finland? In a way yes. I miss milk, sauna, snow, warm houses, my school and generally the education and of course I would like to see my family and friends.
But. I love speaking English, it feels natural and normal and everything is easier to explain in English. I love the friendly culture New Zealand has. I love the views and landscape. I love the people. I love the food, although it could be a little bit healthier and more salad wouldn't be bad. I feel like I belong here, I was always meant to born here. I'm not saying that I am not proud to say that I'm from Finland. My dream would be having Finland and New Zealand's nationality.
